- No, you cannot cancel your order after you have reached the confirmation screen. However, if your course has not expired and you have not started the course, we can exchange your course for a different course. For cancellation questions, please contact Jacob Raymer at jacob.raymer@usu.edu.
- Can I cancel my conference registration?
- Yes, the Shingo Prize will gladly refund 100% of your registration fees up to 60 days before the first day of the event. Refunds made less than 60 days prior to the event will be subject to a $300.00 processing fee. No refunds will be made within 30 days of the event or for non-participation. No partial refunds will be made within 30 days of the event. Substitutions can be made up to the first day of the event. Substitutions for tours must be approved by the tour facility and the Shingo Prize office and must be made at least 14 days prior to the event, subject to availability. We will not be able to accommodate last minute tour registrations or changes. For cancellation questions, please contact Jacob Raymer at jacob.raymer@usu.edu.
- What is the hotel policy for an event (conference, workshop, tour)?
- Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Attendees are personally responsible for all charges incurred at the hotel. The Shingo Prize has contracted with the advertised conference hotel for a block of rooms at reduced rates. Registering early will help ensure that you receive this rate. The Shingo Prize does not make any guarantees of specific room rates. The hotel confirms the rate that you will receive. The Shingo Prize is not responsible for any billing problems that you may encounter with the hotel please address them directly with the hotel.
- What is your policy on tours (registration, cancelation, appropriate attire)?

All tour facilities reserve the right to prohibit participation of any attendee for any reason. All tours require closed toe and heel shoes (steel toes will be noted in confirmations if needed). Certain tours may require proof of U.S. Citizenship. Registration for a tour is conditional on tour facility approval. To respect tour facilities and their operations, there will not be any last minute registrations for tours. Substitutions for tours must be approved by the tour facility and must be made 14 days prior to tour. If a tour is cancelled for any reason the Shingo Prize will do its best to provide a reasonable substitute or will refund that portion of the registration fees.

All workshop presenters reserve the right to prohibit participation of any attendee for any reason. Registration for workshops is conditional on workshop presenter approval. If a workshop is cancelled for any reason the Shingo Prize will do its best to provide a reasonable substitute or will refund that portion of the registration fees. Presenters have prepared materials and room setup to accommodate attendees that have registered for their workshop, please plan on attending the workshop that you have registered for.

Data protection and data security
- How do you protect my personal information?
- Our ordering process is protected by a secure connection and a digital certificate of site authenticity. Data in transit between your computer and the bank can be read only by the bank. We do not store any credit card or financial information. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
- My online order was not finalized; will my credit card be charged?
- No, your credit card is not processed until you finish the checkout process and see the confirmation screen.
Registration and shopping
- How do I register for a course online?

Registering for a course is simple. Just find the course you want, click Add to Cart, and then proceed to checkout.
Here is the entire process in more detail:
- To see available courses, click one of the links under "Courses".
- Add a course to your shopping cart by clicking the Add to Cart link on the course description page.
- Click the Check Out link. You will be asked to log onto your account or create a new account.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the checkout process.
- How do I use a discount code or coupon?
- During the checkout process, enter your coupon code on the Payment Information page. We do not accept discounts or coupons after an order has been processed.
- What happens after I register for a course?

When you complete registration, you will see the confirmation screen and receive a receipt via e-mail.
To take your course, visit http://lms.shingoprize.net, and logon using your username and password from the email. You will see your available courses.
After completing your course, you will be able to view and print a PDF Certificate of Completion. - What will I receive through email?
- You will receive a receipt of your purchase, which will include your username and password adn the URL to log on to your courses.
Payment
- Can I use a purchase order?
- Contact us if you want to place an order with a purchase order.
- Do you accept credit or debit cards?
- Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- Can I pay with a check?
- Contact us if you want to place an order with a check.
- Can I pay with cash?
- We do not accept cash.
- How will I receive my receipt?
- After you have completed the checkout process, you will be e-mailed a copy of your receipt. You can also view receipts for all your past orders on the My Account page.
Courses
- Can I stop in the middle of a course without starting over?
- Yes, but it is suggested that you end after completing a section. If you want to come back to the course later, you should log off from the main course menu.
- How will I know when I have completed the course?
- If you are able to view your PDF Certificate of Completion, you have completed the course.
- How will I know my exam score, if applicable?
- You can see your exam score for a course by clicking on the Grades link in the left menu. If your score is 70% or higher, you have passed the exam. If your exam score is under 70%, you will need to review the course and retake the exam. You can take the exam several times before the course expires.
- When will I receive my certificate of completion?
- After you pass your course, you will be able to immediately view your PDF Certificate of Completion.
